This Data Retention Policy describes how long BSF LLC retains information collected through bsfworks.com. For data collected through our individual apps, please see the product-specific data retention policies linked below.

1. Our principles
We follow three principles when retaining information:
- Minimum necessary: we collect only what we need to operate the website and respond to inquiries.
- Defined retention: every category of information has a clear retention period.
- Honor your requests: you can request deletion of your information at any time, and we’ll act on it within 30 days unless we’re legally required to keep it.
2. Retention by data category
2.1 Server logs
Standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, page requested, timestamp) are collected and retained by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for up to 30 days for security, abuse prevention, and operational debugging. After 30 days, logs are deleted or anonymized.
3.2 Inquiry emails
Emails sent to support@bsfworks.com are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, plus a reasonable period for record-keeping (typically up to 2 years from the last interaction).
3.3 Tax and accounting records
Where any communication or transaction creates a record we are legally required to retain (for example, transaction records subject to U.S. tax law), we retain those records for the period required by applicable law, typically 7 years.
3. Deletion requests
You can request deletion of personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, email support@bsfworks.com with “Deletion Request” in the subject line. We will:
- Acknowledge your request within 5 business days
- Verify your identity (typically by responding from the email address on file)
- Delete or anonymize information we’re permitted to delete within 30 days
- Inform you of any information we’re legally required to retain, with the reason
4. Backups
Information may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems. Backups are retained on a rolling basis, typically not exceeding 90 days, after which they are overwritten or deleted.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
